Cymtec Announces Commercial Availability of Cymtec Sentry SOHO Solution

LOUIS, MISSOURI, USA, July 5, 2007 – Cymtec Systems, Inc., a privately-held, leading provider of network security solutions, today announced the addition of Cymtec Sentry SOHO to it suite of network security solutions.  Cymtec Sentry SOHO is now available in full commercial release.  Cymtec Sentry SOHO is designed to fill a critical gap in the small-office/home-office marketplace – which in many cases nowadays constitutes the final extension of the corporate network.

 

The Cymtec Sentry SOHO Appliance is an in-line device that acts as a bridge for network traffic. All traffic is scanned for the presence of abnormal traffic markers. Normal traffic is passed through the bridge – and if abnormal traffic is encountered, a variety of actions are automatically performed, based on the type of abnormality and the specific configuration set-up by the user.  Cymtec Sentry will protect your network from:
