Cymtec Systems Standardizes on Portwell Technologies Hardware for Groundbreaking Cymtec Sentry Network Appliance

St. Louis, Mo. – February 08, 2008 – Cymtec Systems, Inc. announced the selection of Portwell Technologies is its exclusive hardware partner and supplier for its groundbreaking Cymtec Sentry®, the first network security and performance management appliance for remote and branch office environments.

Working with Portwell engineers, Cymtec now has both a standard 1U version of the Cymtec Sentry appliance, as well as a new SOHO (Small-Office/Home-Office) version designed for the one-to-six person environment. The 1U version includes a Gigabit interface capability for greater scaling into larger and more robust environments. The platform’s more robust design also delivers a significant increase in detection/inspection capability.
