Top US Law Firm Bryan Cave Relies on Cymtec Systems

Cites Centralized Management as Key Factors in Successful Deployment

March 3, 2008

St. Louis, MO –March 03,2008 – Cymtec Systems, Inc. announced that leading law firm Bryan Cave LLP has designed a global network security strategy using Cymtec Sentry® and Cymtec Scout®.

Bryan Cave LLP is a respected business and litigation firm with global reach, a strong reputation and a long history of success. The company works for a diverse client base, including publicly held multinational corporations, large and mid-sized privately held companies, partnerships and emerging companies. With more than 1,600 users, including 800 attorneys and 24 locations in the U.S. and internationally, Bryan Cave prides itself on proactive, solution-oriented work in every major area of interest to clients.

Neeraj Rajpal, CIO of Bryan Cave LLP, said, “Network security is a top priority for us. We wanted a strategy to better handle issues with malware, spyware, viruses, operating system exploits, and detection of unauthorized external system access.”

The firm uses Cymtec Systems products to keep signatures updated, to refresh the management portal, for explanations of threat types and levels, and to stage and deploy system updates.

Rajpal described Bryan Cave LLP’s global IT strategy, which is constructed around high-availability regionalized datacenters. The platform was designed and built to easily accommodate acquisitions and mergers, along with rapid deployment of newly opened offices.

Bryan Cave LLP uses Cymtec Sentry’s centralized management console that includes automatic updates, centralized reporting and encrypted management traffic. ”As we looked for the best network security and performance management products, central management was a key factor because our global network is managed from a central location in the US,” Rajpal commented. And, since the data model is based on regionalized datacenters and centralized data repositories, remote office IS staffing needs are minimal.

“Our goal is to provide network services anytime, anywhere to our customer base – either inside or outside the boundaries of our interior network,” Rajpal said. “We achieve this through centralized data repositories within our datacenters and very tight internal and external network security.”

Andrew S. Rubin, President and CEO of Cymtec Systems, said, “Bryan Cave LLP reflects our commitment to providing our customers with the most robust products for consistent network security and performance management experience whether it’s at headquarters or the far edge of the network.”
